Announcement to PSCC family and extended family!
Sunday, July 5th, 2009 | Uncategorized | No Comments
Images from the Martin family going away service and BBQ are online for your viewing pleasure. I do not have email addresses for all the people featured in these images so please please feel free to share this link with people you see in the images if you have their contact info. I have enabled FREE downloading of full size images so that you can have the digital files for your family use. Just hover your mouse over any image and a ‘file’ icon will appear, click the icon and you can save the full image file. I have also enabled the shopping cart function for anyone that wants to get professional prints done and have them directly shipped to their home. Please know that ALL proceeds from sales of images will go directly to the Martin Family- so while I enabled the free downloads and you don’t have to buy anything, you can and thereby bless an awesome family! Don’t miss the final image as it is a movie file that I’m sure you’ll enjoy!
Also- If I did not take your picture but you were there that weekend I am truly sorry, I made every effort to include everyone without being completely obtrusive in peoples activities and conversations. If I did take your picture and you don’t care for it, I also sincerely apologize. The variation of expression available to us as people is immense and it is hard as a photographer to know what any one person considers to be their favorite, or not so favorite, looks. Know that I think we have a beautiful PSCC family and that includes YOU!
Bayus is FOUR!

On Tuesday our little Bayus turned 4 years old
To celebrate we had several special little friends over for a train themed party. This year Bayus was extremely involved in the planning of his party, so much so it was all I could do keep up with him and his ideas! A special thank you to my dear friends who took pictures of the party for me (I got called away to a birth just over an hour before the party, but it was super rapid and I made it back in time for the cake and presents) and also one dear friend that took my cake decorating weaknesses under her wing and made a point of coming over late the night before to help me put together a somewhat recognizable train cake- thank you ladies!
I’d also like to thank Sonya of Sublime Threads for her awesome work on designing and making Bayus’ birthday shirt for us. If you ever want a truly special outfit with quality workMOMship then check out Sonya here
Another great link I need to make sure you have is for MrMcGroovy and his amazing cardboard building plans and kits!
Please watch the short video I made (get a cup of tea while you wait for it to download) that includes images of all the little details we put together for the party and some of the unexpected entertainment like magnifying glasses and the chickens
Fairies, Ballets and Puppets…..

Just a few pictures to highlight some of the fun from this past week(end). Hannah went to a much anticiapted ‘fairy’ birthday party and worked long and hard on her gift. Grandma Engle suprised Hannah and took her to Pacific Northwest Ballet’s performance of ‘The Nutcracker’ in Seattle. All three kids enjoyed watching the group ‘Puppets Please’ put on a Christmas show at our local library. The activities and the advent calendars are counting down……..its almost CHRISTMAS!
And the ‘mania’ continues…

This weekend was full of activities, including the annual Gingerbread house party put on by dear friends of ours. Every year they graciously invite us and a slew of other friends and in preparation they bake our gingerbread houses from scratch and mix up some royal icing! Everyone comes bearing gifts of candy for the building tables and food for the buffet- its always a blast! This year the boys let Hannah have full reign over the design and construction of the house as long as they could help eat it later
A heartfelt THANK YOU to all that were near and dear this past week…

This past week we had a family emergency when Hannah’s appendix ruptured and we had to spend six days at the local children’s hospital. We were overwhelmingly surrounded in love and prayers from friends and family both near and far. As a family we all felt, and especially Hannah, very very loved. Thank you for standing with us and petitioning the Lord on Hannah’s behalf for her health and saftey this past week.
A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of nature.

This post was a long time coming….but hopefully you feel its worth it
I had to collect images from 2 of my cameras and from the cameras of my little sister and 2 other friends (hence the lack of continuity in file names).
We had a magical day with all our friends, please enjoy the video by clicking below. It will take some time to download for viewing, feel free to get a cup of tea while you wait, but if you can’t possibly wait to see the video you can also click below and scroll through the images used in the video.
